Working to Help You!
I am a self-starter, have great rapport with clients, and take pride in my work. I have worked in the area of trust administration, probate, guardianship and conservatorship.
I have been self-employed for over 20 years. I am the steward of Judicial Self-Help Center, Hayward, CA. I enjoy interacting with others, I love to learn, and I love to share with others what I have learned.
Over the years I have worked with several attorneys and assisted them in several areas regarding probate, wills and estates. In my career I have also processed several trust administrations. I understand and appreciate the importance of discovering and shepherding estate assets and carefully watching for tax and liability issues.
My special area is probate. For more than 10 years, I have assisted several attorneys in Alameda County and Bay Area wide, in the area of Probate. Probate matters can be tedious and time consuming. However, I have developed an effective system for processing matters very efficiently. The probate examiners, in Alameda County, have perfected the probate process, have it down to an exact science and have been generous with their knowledge. I have a keen understanding that knowing what the probate examiners are expecting is an absolute must. On average, in my work, I have been able to obtain a tentative pre-grant on ninety percent of the Petitions for Probate and Petitions for Final Distribution. My goal is to reach one hundred percent.
I obtained a Paralegal Certification in 1990 and to expand my knowledge I also have a Juris Doctorate degree. I maintain my own office and have been very successful doing independent contract work with attorneys, working remotely and on a “per job” basis.
I invite you to call me at (510) 264-5300 to schedule an opportunity to meet to discuss your needs and my skills further. Thank you in advance.
